User Research
With user research and usability tests, we find out what your users really need. This allows us to work together to design websites and apps that are easy to understand and simple to use.
Agile UX Testing
Agile UX tests provide early feedback from real users. This makes it possible to quickly identify usability issues and improve them directly in the process.
Usability Test
We invite real users to test your website or app. This reveals weaknesses that can be quickly fixed.
Web Analytics
We evaluate usage data and find out where users drop off. This creates a solid basis for improvements.
In-depth Interviews
In one-on-one conversations, users openly share what they really need. This gives us more insight than mere observation.
Eye Tracking
We measure gaze patterns and see what stands out and what goes unnoticed. Ideal in combination with usability tests.
Focus Groups
Target groups test together. In moderated sessions, opinions, expectations, and ideas for improvement emerge.
Usability Analysis
Our experts review your application according to common standards and provide specific recommendations for optimization.
Card Sorting
Users organize content according to their own logic. This creates understandable structures that really work.
Prototyping & Wireframes
We make ideas visible. Clickable prototypes or wireframes allow structure and functions to be experienced early.
Online Surveys
Fast, direct, anonymous. We ask your users about their satisfaction and deliver evaluable results.
Benchmarking
We test your product in comparison with others. This shows you where it stands and how you can improve it further.
Time Series Tests
What has changed? We compare earlier and current results and make progress measurable.
User-Centered Development
Digital products only work if they fit the people who use them. That's why we test early and regularly whether your application is understandable, helpful, and easy to use. This creates something that is truly needed.
This is how we test for you
e-pixler has its own labs equipped with eye tracking. However, we can also test remotely, directly at the client's site in Berlin or anywhere in Germany.
Our experienced test supervisors ensure reliable and robust results. An expert evaluation is also possible.
We have an extensive participant database.
Of course, you can be there live during the testing, in the lab or via streaming.
Participant Database
We are continuously expanding our database. If you are also interested in taking part as a test participant in a usability test, please send an email to:
jonas.huber [at] e-pixler [dot] com. We will be happy to add you to our participant database.
If you are a suitable target group for a test, we will contact you. Look forward to an exciting visit to our site and a small fee.

Usability test to increase the conversation rate
e-pixler tested the online shop Lagertechnik Steger for possible weaknesses that stand in the way of increasing the conversation rate. The shop underwent both an expert evaluation and a participant test with scenario-based tasks.
At the presentation of the results on site at the client’s premises, identified weaknesses were presented and discussed. Among other things, irritations during the ordering process were mentioned, which unsettle potential customers and cause them to abandon the purchase process. It also became apparent that too many filter variations can lead to fatigue on the part of the hurried customer.
As soon as the online shop allows customers to fill their shopping cart and place orders in a consistent and intuitive way, satisfaction and thus the conversation rate will continue to rise. This is because important criteria for better usability, such as clarity, brevity, and familiarity, are then achieved.
Since the attractiveness of the online shop also contributes to the incentive to buy, e-pixler presented a design draft for an appealing homepage, which was very well received by Lagertechnik Steger.
The client
Lagertechnik Steger GmbH – based in Chemnitz – sees itself as a partner for storage systems and repairs.
